Syftet med min uppsats är att få ökad kunskap om skolsocionomers organisering och praktik. Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ metod och har valt semistrukturerade intervjuer. Resultaten har analyserats med hjälp av fyra olika praktikteorier och en professionsteoretisk ansats och jag har tagit hjälp av fyra uttalade praktikteorier. Studien visar att skolsocionomerna i min studie bedriver socialt arbete utifrån de fyra praktikteorierna och utifrån ett tvärvetenskapligt perspektiv samt att de arbetar utifrån en yrkesprofessionalism. I den avslutande diskussionen resonerar jag kring hur mina resultat förhåller sig till tidigare forskning. Det avslutande avsnittet lyfter fram vikten av att fortsätta att forska på detta nya fält för socionomer, till exempel gränsarbete mellan socionomer i olika organisationer.

The purpose of my essay is to gain increased knowledge about the organization and practice of schoolsociologists (skolsocionomer). I have used a qualitative method and have chosen semi-structured interviews. The results have been analyzed with the help of four different practical theories and a professional theoretical approach and I have used four stated practical theories. The study shows that the school socionomists in my study conduct social work based on the four practical theories and based on an interdisciplinary perspective, and that they work based on a professional professionalism. In the concluding discussion, I reason about how my results relate to previous research. The concluding section highlights the importance of continuing to research this new field for sociologists, for example boundary work between sociologists in different organizations.
